About Al Najat Village

Founded in 2011, Al Najat Village began by providing psychosocial support to children facing abuse, neglect, and difficult life circumstances.

Following the Beirut Port Explosion on August 4, 2020, and amid the multiple crises affecting Lebanon, the organization expanded its mission in response to the growing mental health needs of individuals and families. Today, Al Najat Village provides accessible psychological support, trauma-informed care, and therapeutic services for children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Mission

Al Najat Village offers free psychological support services to children, adolescents and adults of diverse ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds in Lebanon, with a variety of psychological difficulties aiming to alleviate suffering and promote resilience. Our mission is centered on facilitating recovery for people suffering from PTSD or impacted by trauma symptoms using trauma-informed practices.
