Al Najat Village was founded in 2011, offering psychosocial support to  abused and neglected children. After Beirut Blast, August 4, 2020, Lebanese citizens suffered from trauma, depression, anxiety etc… therefore Al Najat’s mission and vision shifted based on needs that emerged as a result of the situation.

Our mission

Al Najat Village offers free psychological support services to children, adolescents and adults of diverse ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds in Lebanon, with a variety of psychological difficulties aiming to alleviate suffering and promote resilience. Our mission is centered on facilitating recovery for people suffering from PTSD or impacted by trauma symptoms using trauma-informed practices.

Our vision

To ensure that mental health is prioritized and accessible to everyone in Lebanon. We envision a society where trauma symptoms are acknowledged, addressed and understood with expertise. Our vision is to guarantee that people with different psychological difficulties are equipped with tools to effectively manage and overcome their hardships.
